Pruning Workshop – August 5, 2023

Event description: This event is a follow-up summer pruning session on 25 young fruit trees planted
as an edible trail in 2019 and pruned, with the Club’s help, at an event this past March.

This summer pruning session is intended to further shape the trees and cut back unwanted vegetation.

This will be a great opportunity for novice pruners to learn about pruning and training techniques, as well as growth habits, of several species of fruit trees all planted at the same time.

Date: Saturday, August 5th at 10:00 AM. The public, along with students from Kankake Community College, are all invited.
