Grafting Workshop Highlights

The 2025 grafting workshop on March 23 at Chicago Botanic Garden was well attended and received by the public and club members alike. Public attendance was good and the club had a good turnout of members to help with the event and many came to pick up rootstock.

Oriana led the members only discussion in the morning. Michael, Chuck and Al conducted the public lecture. Bob brought in his exotic collection of fig cuttings. Kevin oversaw the scion sorting and display. Annie managed to collect all the fees and keep the check out line moving. The rest of us helped set up, sort and bag all the rootstock, label the scion and get everything cleaned up.

And, of course it was great to see all our MidFex friends again!
