Heirloom fest at the Chicago Botanic Garden 2025

MidFEx has been invited to participate in the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Heirloom Fest on August 23-24. This is the third year we have been asked to participate by the Garden, and is a great opportunity to recruit new members and show off our Club to the public.

The event runs from 10AM- 4PM each day, and is hosted outdoors at the fruit and vegetable garden island.

We are asking for volunteers to man an information kiosk as part of the event. By volunteering, you can get free parking and admission to the Gardens.

As long as we have at least one club member at the booth, others are free to take breaks and enjoy the event; those who attended last year had a lot of fun! Please call or email club President Ben Balskus if you have any questions!
