Members Gather at Summer Picnic

MidFex members come from Wisconsin around the Lake over to Michigan. This year club members gathered for our annual Summer Picnic just south of the Illinois-Wisconsin border at the Rudawski family farm near Harvard, Illinois.

Turning off the gravel road and up the hill to the farm property, we saw the lovely event space set up with tables and tents next to a lush vegetable garden and old fruit tree orchard.  There were nice views of the pastoral countryside to enjoy as everyone arrived and set up the food table and visited with each other. Lots of traditional picnic dishes and some individual specialties were available for our picnic lunch.  Kevin K. organized all the action over at the auction table where you never know what you will find that members bring in. After our business meeting we toured the orchard and sat around and visited while the sun came out.
