Orchard Walk: Apples on Oak

ATTENTION: This event has been rescheduled, the new date is Sunday September 24, 2023. Event Description: Join us for an Orchard Walk: Apples on Oak. Larry Peceniak, one of our Kurle Memorial Lecture speakers this year, has generously agreed to take us on a tour of his orchard, Apples on Oak. The orchard consists of about 4 acres of apple and Asian pear trees and uses some innovative organic methods. Read more about their orchard and regenerative agricultural practices here. Date: Sunday, September 24th, 2023 Time:  1:00 pm start. This is a working orchard, so please wear appropriate shoes & clothing. Location: Check the member’s only page for event location.
