SUMMARY:Apple Cider Social
DESCRIPTION:Event Description: Do you have more apples than you know what to do with? Do some have blemishes or minor insect damage that would prevent you from eating them raw? Instead of tossing them into the compost heap bring then to the cider social and take home your own handmade cider! \n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll have the club’s own cider presses in-play and running all day. We typically have this event two weeks after Harvest Festival and apples may be available to purchase if leftover from Harvest Festival. \n\n\n\nMembers are encouraged to bring their own apples\, homegrown or store bought to press into cider. Bring your own containers large enough to hold the cider from your apples. Clean gallon milk jugs work great! Pulp from the cider press will be available for composting as well. It is typically chilly that time of the year so dress accordingly. \n\n\n\n\n\nDate: Sunday November 5\, 2023 \n\n\n\nTime: 9am – until 4pm \n\n\n\nLocation: See Grapevine or Members Only page \n\n\n\nDirections: See Grapevine or Members Only page \n\n\n\nEvent Details: This event is for members and guests of members.  See your Grapevine newsletter or the Members Only page for additional details.
